HOW TO APPLY FOR CUSTOMS BROKER EXAM
Dear Friends,
Happy Diwali !!!!
The time has arrived to submit your filled in application forms for Customs Broker Exam. The written exam is scheduled on 19th Jan 2018. Please take extra care while applying this year since no discrepancy list will be released hence there won't be any chance to correct your mistakes.
Please check your application with the followings:
1- All the fields of form A should be properly filled in.
2- Ensure that you have pasted a photo of you on Form A, and Attested by Gazetted Officer.
3-Your Second Photo should be pasted on a plain paper and attached to form A
4-You should attach your self attested Aadhar Card and PAN Card with form. In case you don't have Aadhar Card you can use Pasport or Voter ID Card.
5- A salary Certificate or ITR copy should be attached to the form.
6- A solvency Certificate issued by scheduled bank should be attached for the solvency of 5 Lakh Rs.
7- An Affidavit confirming various points should be attached. Prepared on the stamp paper of Rs 100 and notarised.
8- Self Attested copies of all your academic mark sheets/Certificates like (10th, 12th, Graduation, MBA or LLB or CA etc) should be attached
9- Self Attested copy of Degree of your MBA or LLB or qualifying exam must be attached.
10- A Character Certificate issued by a Gazzated Officer should be enclosed .

NEXT CUSTOMS BROKER EXAM WILL BE HELD ON 19 JAN 2018
Dear All,
If you wish to appear in Customs Broker Exam, be prepared, next exam will be held on 19 January 2018 . Application forms can be submitted from 16 Oct 2017 to 17 Nov 2017 at the Office of Commissioner of Customs New Customs House , Near IGI Airport New Delhi.

WHAT TO READ FOR CUSTOMS BROKER ORAL EXAM PREPARATION

1- Customs
Act 1962 is the mother of all procedure and rules of Customs, so major sections
of customs act must be on your finger tips.
2- You
must be aware about export and import procedures including baggage and Kachcha
Bill of Entry.
3- You
must know how to find HS code for an item. And types of duties levied by the customs.
4- You
must know, how to file shipping bill and Bill of Entry.
5- You
must be aware about export promotion schemes
6- Must
be aware about Names and major provisions of Allied Acts.
7- You
should go through various rules made under CA1962 like Drawback Rules, Baggage
Rules, Valuation Rules etc.
8- You
should be aware about Appellate Provisions and implications.
9- You
should be aware about draw back provisions and procedures.

You should know the whole detail and
implications of the product you are
exporting and importing regularly.
